I intend to construct a small vase-like tank for one male betta and decorate it with aquatic plants like bamboo that would not require substrate. I also hope to hide a water feature inside the bamboos/plants with a small water assembly (most probably with a punctured dry bamboo to act as a tiny fountain). Can you advise me on the plants that could be used safely. The open top would be at most 20 cm2 and the depth will depend on the plants. Thanks in advance
