Mhhh....I dont understand the question? Can you describe it a litte bit more.

...for example I use sand normaly only for decoration (like sand banks) or I use a sand-fertilize mix under the gravel. Good growing in sand are plants like Aponogeton and some Cryptocoryns.

There are different products with a very similar looking: Dennerle, Sera, JBL for example a main sand mix with fertilizer. I pefer lighter material with a better structure for the roots: like ADA PowerSand, or Hobby Aqualit. Also very rich in nutrients the TropiaAquaCare substrat.
